Apply a thin layer of engine assembly lubricant to the piston skirt, rings, and cylinder walls.

Step 3: Install Piston Rings
Use a piston ring compressor to mount rings onto the piston.
Ensure ring gaps are staggered at 120° intervals (avoid aligning gaps with thrust surfaces).

Step 4: Insert Piston into Cylinder
Align the piston’s front mark with the engine’s crankshaft rotation direction.
Gently tap the piston into the cylinder using a wooden handle.

Step 5: Connect to Crankshaft
Attach the connecting rod to the crankshaft journal and torque bolts to 0.01mm

3. Post-Installation Checks
Rotate the crankshaft manually to ensure smooth movement.
Perform a compression test to verify seal integrity.
